As a potential PADI scuba instructor, you might be wondering what exactly you have gotten yourself into.  The course you are planning on taking is challenging, but there are many things that you can do to better prepare yourself.

Instructor Development Course


 Prerequisites:

  • Certified to dive for at least six (6) months
  • Divemaster or AI
  • 18 Years Old
  • Signed Medical Exam Form
  • Completed and Signed IDC Application
  • Signed Liability Release
  • Photograph
  • Deposit
  • Full Tuition

  • Knowledge Development       (3)
  • Confined Water                      (4)
  • Open Water                            (2)

 

Skills:

  • 24 skills must be conducted earning a combined score of 90, with no skill earning an individual score below 3 out of 5.
  • 800 meter mask, snorkel, fin swim
